Skin peels are a very popular and effective treatment, where the top layer of skin is removed to reveal fresh, new skin underneath. They are sometimes called chemical peels depending on the nature of the solution that is applied; at Timeless Skin we offer our London patients both chemical and non-chemical peels.

We have many years’ experience in offering skin peels in London and can deal with all skin types and a wide range of skin concerns, from ageing problems such as lines and wrinkles, sun damage and other pigment problems, to poor skin tone that may include dull and tired skin or enlarged pores.

Am I suitable for a Skin Peel treatment (e.g. Salicylic Acid Peel)?

During your free consultation, your Timeless Skin practitioner will assess your skin and discuss your concerns and what you’re hoping to achieve from your treatment. We offer both chemical and non-chemical skin peels and will advise you on the best protocol depending on what results you’re hoping to achieve.

What Skin Peel treatment do you offer at Timeless Skin (e.g. Salicylic Acid Peel)?

Spot Peel
This is a targeted skin peel, suitable for those with specific pigmentation concerns, particularly dark age spots or areas of sun damage, hyperpigmentation or melasma. Although it penetrates deeper than some of our more gentle peels, patients recover very quickly and darker skin tones can be treated.

Melanostop Peel
There is minimal downtime with this safe and effective peel. It is suitable for patients with very pigmented skin and a course of four is recommended for the best results.

Cosmelan Peel
This treatment consists of two parts. After your consultation, the Cosmelan mask is applied before you leave the clinic and return home. The mask should be left on for eight to twelve hours; your Timeless Skin practitioner will advise you on when best to remove the mask. Then, in stage two, you apply the Cosmelan cream three times a day for the first week, twice a day the second week and then for the third week the cream is applied just once a day.

Salicylic Acid Peel and Jessner Peel
These peels tackle sun damage and ageing problems such as lines and wrinkles. It is also particularly good at treating acne-prone skin due to its exfoliating action that targets the spot-causing sebaceous material trapped in the follicles.

Glycolic Peel
This peel encourages skin cell renewal by loosening dead skin cells on the surface of the skin. Your skin looks brighter and fresher and it is a safe and effective way to treat ageing skin.

Milk Peel
This is a very simple and safe skin peeling treatment with little or no downtime. This gentle peel is suitable for patients displaying the very early signs of ageing or sun damage. It can reduce fine lines, increase hydration and improve the overall appearance of the skin.

Cosmo Peel
This is an all-round skin anti aging peel.this treatment can refresh a tired and dull complexion as well as eradicate the early signs of sun damage.

Green Peel
This non-chemical peel uses a combination of herbs to lightly peel the skin. For a gentle, safe and all-round skin rejuvenating treatment the Green Peel is very safe and effective.

What results can I expect from Skin Peels?

After your skin peel treatment, your skin will feel and look much improved. The top layer of dead skin cells is removed and blood circulation is stimulated to give you a much refreshed and rejuvenated appearance.

Your Timeless Skin practitioner will also be able to advise you on how best to complement your results with an ongoing at-home skincare routine.
